Delphine Restaurant & Bar, the acclaimed Hollywood concept from the Innovative Dining Group, and favourite hangout of the Hollywood A list, has launched a new menu and has introduced the talented Armenian cover group, ‘Mango Band,’ to add a sensory dimension to their dining experience. The atmosphere in the casual chic restaurant is electric every lunch and dinner with the accomplished dulcet tones of the rocking and swinging band.


Whether it’s just a drink at the bar or a gastronomic extravaganza at the restaurant, Delphine has an epicurean journey for everyone. Indulge in seafood at the bar with the aphrodisiac Fin De Clair oysters, Spanish Cantabrian Sea Anchovy with Charred Bread and Whipped Butter or Spicy Tuna Tartar, Avocado and Crispy Wonton. Despite being Californian, Delphine weaves in local Arabic cuisine into its menu with Hass Avocado Hummus and Beetroot Moutabel, Nigella Seeds and Tahina. For hot bites, the Fried Spiced Cauliflower and Fragrant Salt must be sampled; Sautéed Prawns, Garlic and Chilli; Rossini Burger Slider; and the infamous Delphine Corn Bread, Honey Butter and Maldon Salt. There is also an array of halal charcuterie, served with homemade pickled vegetables, which includes Goose Prosciutto, and Wagyu Beef Bresaola.


Delphine’s Chef de Cuisine, Matteo Marras, is a highly experienced chef, who has worked all over the world and believes food comes from the heart, and the menu is testament to that. Salads and entrées include fresh, crunchy and crispy Sautéed Broccolini, Organic Kale Salad, or innovative dishes like a Soft Shell Crab Lettuce Cup, which is served with Papaya Salsa and Charred Corn. If you fancy soups and pasta, warm up during Dubai’s colder months with Smoked Corn Chowder, or Homemade Gnocchi with Smoked Scarmoza Cheese and Fresh Basil.

Delphine is set to become very well known for its superlative expertise in grilled cuisine, serving King Prawns, Lobster, Lamb Ribs and various cuts of steak, with a selection of homemade mustards and aromatic butter. There are other options though for fish lovers, for example Line Caught Sea Bass, or a favourite Salmon Paillard, served with seasonal vegetables and tahini yoghurt sauce, or a stand out on the menu is the Cauliflower Steak, with Spiced Dressing, Green Olive Pistachio Tabuleh, and Raisins.

Sides are just as creative as the rest of the menu, and diners will be returning for these alone, the tater tots, which are double cooked potatoes and aioli, or shoestring fries with truffle oil and parmesan. Delphine knows how to win over a chocolate lover’s heart with 10 Minutes Cookies and Milk, which is Double Chocolate Cookies and Milk with Vanilla milkshake, or an Espresso Frozen Parfait, which is a Chocolate Soup, with Bittersweet Chocolate Crumbles, or to clean the palate, try an all American Lime Cheesecake. 

As if the new menus weren’t enough, the introduction of the band has enhanced the Delphine experience. Singing against the backdrop of the art deco inspired furnishings, Manush Poghosyan has an innate ability to read her audience, and identifies what each and every diner might enjoy listening to. She is accompanied by Garik Saribekyan on the keyboard, Karen Mkrtchyan on the saxophone and Vardan Vardanyan on the bass guitar. They play every style from jazz, soul, rock, pop and funk to suit every diner at Delphine, and guests can even make requests.
