Newly crowned Miss European Tourism and Dubai-based supermodel Lenka Josefiova looked every inch the silver screen goddess as she stormed the red carpet as the official TV host of Hong Kong-based Film Awards TV during the 12th Dubai International Film Festival in United Arab Emirates on Wednesday night.
The Czech-born beauty queen/TV host-supermodel looked sensational in a glimmering aquamarine gown which was cut to elegantly flaunt her enviable curves to perfection by Emirati fashion designer Mona Al Mansouri.
Handpicked by International Film Awards TV management, Lenka Josefiova interviewed the brightest stars from Bollywood to Hollywood during several events at DIFF 2015. As part of her TV host stint, Lenka Josefiova had an exclusive one-to-one interview with A-list Hollywood superstar Eva Longoria who was an honorary guest during the The Global Gift Gala at Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach.
“I am absolutely thrilled to be interviewing one of my favourite actresses in Hollywood. Her passion in doing philanthropic works and voice of minority served as my guiding lights during my reign as the Miss European Tourism” Lenka Josefiova said.
During the eight-day film festival, Lenka Josefiova interviewed several regional and international celebrities such as: British actor Dev Patel (Slumdog Millionaire), Egyptian actor Hany Ramzy, actresses Amina Khalil and Nahed El Sebai and Palestinian-Arab Idol 2013 winner Mohammed Assaf, who received ‘People’s Choice Awards’ for his biopic ‘The Idol’.
At the closing ceremony of DIFF 2015, Lenka Josefiova had a chance to ask a question to Hollywood superstar Jake Gyllenhaal held at Madinat Theater last Wednesday night.
Lenka Josefiova says, “I am extremely honoured to get a chance to ask Jake about his new movie Southpaw. I asked him about his preparations and challenges for the role as a boxer since this is something that he rarely do.”
Lenka Josefiova also had a chance to interview Czech film director Slavek Horak, who premiered his internationally-acclaimed film ‘Home Care’during DIFF 2015. Horak’s debut film Home Care is the official entry of Czech Republic to Oscars’ 2016 Foreign Language Film category.
“I was fortunate to see the film ‘Home Care’ at MOE and I was personally touched by the way Horak tell the story of a nurse who passionately live up her life despite several challenges she face. It is also a proud moment for me to see fellow Czech to be seen on global stage doing what he loves the most, filmmaking”. LenkaJosefiova said.
Horak’s Home Care already received numerous awards and nominations in several international film festivals and one of top 25 favourite films to win the said award category.
